Community Think Tank

Join us for a day of workshops, gardening, cooking and fun at the Field, New Cross, where a group of Goldsmiths students will be putting their research into practice through a series of interactive and collaboration-based workshops open to all, culminating with a communal dinner.

11am - 3pm 
We begin with an early afternoon gardening session and making a new rooftop graffiti for the Field. Everybody’s welcome to lend a helping hand!

3pm - 6pm
Join our workshops!
Learn how to be an active bystander and react to cases of sexual harassment. 
Let your sarcasm shine and become a magazine jammer.
Write a poem on a local issue that pisses you off.

5pm - 7pm
Cooking time!
Make your own veggie-stuffed sculpture ready for dinner and learn how to cook 'forno a legna' style.
Try your hand at Indonesian cuisine with a Dutch twist.
Discover the origins of kitchen utensils and everyday foodstuffs.

7pm - 10 pm
Dinner time!
Communal meal for all (pay what you can, BYOB).

Running all day are exhibitions and presentations of students' research into unknown and mysterious territories.
Organised in collaboration with the Field, the event is part of this year’s Transforming Critical Practices course at Goldsmiths.
